Global Scholar Citizen Plan

This is my Global Scholar Citizen Plan:

I am driven by my passionate beliefs in Spirituality/Religion, Honor and Dignity. I pursue these passions by utilizing my core strengths of Restorative, Learner, and Achiever. I plan to live out these values through opportunities where I am Influencing and Motivating to achieve Empowerment and Motivation that impacts Children and Communities. To do so, I will seek opportunities to Make organizational changes and Utilize change leadership. When I face challenges or obstacles along the way, I will remember to Seek Spiritual Guidance and Make decisive actions.

To make progress towards this plan, I plan on pursuing opportunities that allow me to make a significant impact in people's life.

One example of this would be the Transfer Ambassador position I have applied for. This position will allow me to influence and motivate incoming transfer or transition students. Thanks to my previous experiences in regards to transitions (transitioning from French to English Studies) and transfers (transferring from UC Clermont to UC Main Campus), I am able to provide and share some valuable insights to students, as well as debunk any myth they might have been told. With friends and family by my side, I know I have a good support system should things ever get out of hand. I will always remember to reach out to them for guidance.

Another example of this would be continuing to work for Accessibility Resources. This position has allowed me to influence and impact various types of students. It has taught me the importance of patience and understanding, while also teaching me the skills I need to be able to deal with anybody I encounter. As my director always says: "This is not a job for everyone. But, the experience you will gain from it will reshape you and your life!"

With several other opportunities in mind, I plan on using my strengths and talents, along with my values to be able to make a difference and impact my surroundings. Although I might not see it at the time, I want each of experience to bring me its own and unique set of valuable knowledge. After reflection on these experiences, I want to be able to learn more about myself. I hope to learn more about areas of my life where I might be strong or weak, areas of my life where I need to improve on and so much more. For instance, I am hoping that within the upcoming year, my experiences teach me the importance of discipline and self-control. I believe that these are areas of my life that I need to improve upon.

In a nutshell, I want my experiences to prepare me to be the man, the Global Citizen Scholar, that I have been called to be.
